Pick Up/ Drop Off: Until further 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞, no visitors are allowed in the building except teachers and state inspectors. This rule was created by Texas Child Care Licensing in an effort to limit exposure. Pick up and Drop Off will occur outside the front door with an administrator. Please arrive early to allow for wiggle room in your schedule. During pickup time, please text us a 10 minute heads up so we can have them ready for you.

🛑Zero Illness Policy: We must check every child temperature before they are permitted to enter the building. A temperature of 99.0 or higher is  grounds for preschool exclusion. If your child exhibits any cold or flu symptoms including coughing, running nose or sneezing he/she will not be permitted to enter the building. Parents PLEASE use your best judgment and if your child isn’t feeling well keep them home. It’s very important to understand this zero illness policy that is in effect until further notice. We will NOT be allowed to administer medication for fever or cold symptoms. However, we will continue to serve our scholars who require treatment for their medical gifts including diabetes, asthma pump, breathing treatment,  epi pen and etc.

 Thermometer Procedure: We will be using a forehead thermometer which will scan your child’s forehead for a quick reading. A new protective cap goes on it for each child for cleanliness purposes.

🧼Cleaning: We will continue our deep cleaning regimen using gloves with some upgrades. Commonly used areas will be wiped down every hour. The building is deep cleaned during NapTime and end of day. On Fridays, an intensive cleaning is done for all classrooms

 Handwashing: We will  continue to wash hands but extend it from 20 seconds to 30 seconds for a deeper scrub. We have an abundance of soap and alcohol based sanitizer for children 2 and up only.

🏽‍ Mini Lesson: We will watch videos, read books and do mini lessons on the importance of handwashing and covering your sneeze/cold.

Donations: If you have an abundance, we would gladly appreciate a donation of  disinfectant wipes, disinfectant spray and disinfectant bleach.
