Family Connections
Parent involvement is vital to children’s success in school. Laugh N’ Discover strives to involve parents in all ways possible. Collaboration with both teachers and parents affirms a strong school and home partnership. Parent volunteering can take many forms. The meaningful engagement of parents and community are essential to educating the growing minds of our youngest learners.
Volunteering
Laugh N’ Discover has many ways for parents to be involved and explore learning by:
- Attending open house
- Sharing cultural celebrations
- Engaging in family fun nights (math & literacy)
- Contributing to annual fundraisers
- Participating in community activities
Conferences
Parent-teacher conferences are held twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. Laugh N’ Discover also invites parents to provide valuable feedback about the success and accessibility of the program. During the conference, the teacher will discuss your child’s strengths and challenges.
